Artist statement

“ Each of my paintings is a true journey of discovery. A new adventure in which I get inspired through life itself. My themes represent my experiences, dreams and insights. They tell stories about small fascinations but also searches for answers to questions of life.

I want my paintings to testify of Beauty, to intrigue and that they are loaded with tantalizing energy to make you wonder and think. Deep down in my heart I want my art to contribute the beauty of the world, enhancing it even beyond its present beauty. ” J.V.
